Jotaro Kanazashi

Jotaro Kanazashi is born in Tokyo, Japan. He started ballet at the age of 10. From 2012 to 2015, Kanesashi received training at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Russia. Between 2015 to 2018, he worked as a soloist for the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.

 

He has received the “Best Actor Award in Ballet” for his performance as James in "La Sylphide."

 

From 2018 to 2019, he performed with Tokyo Ballet as second soloist.

 

From 2019 to 2021, Kanazashi worked with the Samara Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre then with Saratov Opera and Ballet Theatre from 2021 to 2022. He has been working as soloist with Nizhnij Novgorod since 2022 and has danced principal roles as "Don Quixote," "The Nutcracker," "Sleeping Beauty," "Giselle," and "La Sylphide."
