Keito Kakuma

Keito Kakuma was born in Kagoshima, Japan.  She studied and graduated her ballet training under Yuriko Miyaki and Katsuhiro Kodama in Kagoshima, Japan.

Her repertoire includes leading roles in Don Quixote, Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty,  Paquita, Raymonda, Diana and Acteon, Satanella, Esmeralda, Tchaikovsky Pas De Deux, Sylvia, and Le Corsaire.

She has won many prizes in Japanese and International Ballet Competitions including 1st prize of the National Ballet Competition in Nagoya, 1st Prize All Japan Ballet Competition Kyushu, Kobe National Ballet Competition, and Kitakyushu Asian Ballet Competition.

She later joined Chikako Tanaka Ballet Company in Fukuoka, Japan, as a dancer and teacher.
